An adventure of a lifetime. IceWalks tours take place entirely outdoors. We operated last summer successfully with no COVID transmission on our tours.
You can cancel at any time. Whether it be due to travel restrictions or if you are feeling unwell, you will receive a full refund.
We will collect your email address for the purposes of contact tracing in the unlikely event we need to connect with you about possible COVID-19 transmission.
Please bring your own gloves, hat, rain gear and mask. If you don’t have the gear required to have a comfortable trip, we will lend you ours, but at this time, it is best and safest if you use your own.
Summary of Protocols
IceWalks is committed to the implementation of COVID procedures that support those established by Parks Canada to ensure consistency for our staff and guests. We monitor and follow Alberta Public Health and Parks Canada guidelines and messaging and adapt as required. Currently Alberta is in stage 3 of their Open for Summer plan with most restrictions eased.
The following are our COVID protocols that the guests and staff are to follow this season:
- Outdoor group sizes are capped at 12 people
- Masks are worn at the individuals' discretion
- Sanitize common touch surfaces regularly and all gear is washed prior to reentering circulation
- Hand sanitizer available and encouraged to use prior to the tour
- Daily temperature checks for all staff
Procedure for The Parking Lot and Gear-up Area and on Tour
Masks are no longer mandatory in outdoor settings however, they may be worn at the guests' discretion. The guests are offered sanitizer before and after signing the digital waiver. Ideally, electronic waivers are signed beforehand at the time of booking, but they can be signed on the guest’s personal devices through the confirmation page. One IceWalks iPad is available.
