IceWalks Guides

All IceWalks guides are certified members of the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides or international equivalents. The ACMG is the organization that certifies all mountain guides in Canada and is well recognized in the international guiding community. Completing the various courses means that our guides are qualified in glacier travel, crevasse rescue, the effects of changing weather conditions, and all other aspects of mountain and glacier travel. In other words, you can be confident that you will have a safe and stress-free adventure.

Our guides know how awe-inspiring the Canadian Rockies can be: we are here to share this unique landscape with you and demonstrate the impact glaciers have on our lives, not only in western Canada but across large portions of the world. Our guides are also accredited interpreters through the Interpretive Guides Association (IGA), and they will explain the formation of this dynamic environment.
